Kilandu PCBA case studies for EV charger, BMS, industrial motor control, automotive and medical builds

PCBA Case Studies

Anonymised PCBA case studies from Kilandu: what the board had to do, what made it difficult, how it was manufactured, how it was tested, and what capability that demonstrates.

PCBA Case Studies from Kilandu

These are anonymised PCBA case studies. Customer names, logos and contact details are never published; what is published is the engineering: what the board had to do, what made it difficult, how it was manufactured, how it was tested, and what capability that demonstrates. Build-specific data such as layer count, board dimensions, BOM quantity and production volume are available under NDA on request.

Every certification number in these case studies is real and verifiable with the issuing body. Process and capability statements describe Kilandu's own production lines and test equipment. Each case names the signature process that the build depended on most, so a reader can see where the risk actually sat.

How these case studies are written

Each case follows the same seven-part structure so that a reader — or a search system — can find the same information in the same place on every page: project overview, customer requirement, engineering challenges, manufacturing solution, build and capability data, result, and the capability the case demonstrates.

Two kinds of statement appear in these pages and they are not the same thing. Process and capability statements are facts about Kilandu — four Yamaha SMT lines, in-line SPI, AOI and X-ray, ICT and functional test, per-lot traceability, and the certifications listed above. Build data is project-specific and is therefore given under NDA rather than asserted here, because a figure we cannot substantiate in a customer audit is worse than no figure at all.

Talk to our engineering team

Send your Gerber, BOM and assembly files and we will come back with a turnkey quotation covering PCB fabrication, component sourcing, assembly and test. Prototype lead time is 5–8 working days; volume production runs 2–5 weeks depending on material availability; repeat orders to an approved build run 2–3 weeks.

Are these real Kilandu projects?

The manufacturing process, test coverage and certification statements on these pages describe Kilandu's own production and test capability. Build-specific data such as layer count, board dimensions, BOM quantity and production volume is given under NDA rather than asserted, because a figure that cannot be substantiated in a customer audit is worse than no figure at all.

Why are the customers anonymous?

Most PCBA projects run under a confidentiality agreement, so the pages name the industry, the application and the engineering problem but never the customer, the product model or the order quantity. That keeps the engineering evidence usable without exposing either party.
